Cookie Policy

Effective 17 September 2026 · Shotink
This Cookie Policy explains how Shotink uses cookies and similar technologies. It forms part of, and should be read together with, the Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.

1About this policy

This Policy describes the categories of cookies and similar technologies that may be used in connection with the Service and how they may be managed. Any Data collected through these technologies is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

2What cookies are

Cookies are small files placed on your device when you visit a website or use an application. Similar technologies — such as local storage, pixels, tags, and software development kits — perform comparable functions. In this Policy, “cookies” refers to all such technologies.

3Categories we use

Strictly necessary
Required to operate the Service. The studio sets one session cookie, studio, when you sign in; it keeps you signed in and is removed when you sign out or it expires. Our edge and security provider may set cookies needed to distinguish real visitors from automated traffic. The Service does not function without these.
Functional
Used to remember preferences within the studio — for example whether you collapsed the stage rail, or which tab you had open — using your browser's local storage. These never leave your device.
Analytics and performance
We may use privacy-respecting measurement to understand how the Service is accessed and used, so that it can be operated, maintained, and improved. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

The specific cookies used may change as the Service evolves.

4Who sets them

Cookies may be set by us or by third-party providers that help us host, deliver, secure, and analyse the Service, including our content-delivery and edge-security provider and, on the payment pages, our payment processor. Third-party cookies are subject to the relevant provider's own terms and policies.

5Managing cookies

Most browsers allow you to view, manage, block, or delete cookies through their settings. If you block the strictly necessary cookie, you will not be able to stay signed in, and you accept that consequence. Clearing local storage resets your studio preferences and nothing else.

6Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time by posting an updated version with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
