Plans & credits
Every plan gives you the whole studio. Plans only differ in how many credits you get each month. One credit is one cent, and you always see the price before you run a step.

There is no free plan. Making an account is free and needs no card: you can make two projects, import pages, use the editors and read everything. You need a plan for any step that makes something. See Pricing.
Three kinds of step
- Steps that make pictures, video or sound — 6 credits a minute
- Split into Panels, Find Speech Bubbles, Clean Up Panels, Apply Anime Style, Fit to Frame, Generative Fill, Try a Style, Generate Video, Design Voices, Generate Voice-over, Generate SFX, Clean Sound, and making the film bigger. You pay for the minutes your job takes, and nothing else.
- Plan steps — a few credits
- Understand Pages, Plan Art and Plan Story cost 2 credits for each page or panel they read. Write Script and Plan Video cost 10 credits each time you run them. Talking to the assistant costs the same way.
- Free
- Importing, Plan Sound, the hand tools (Select, Paint, Crop, Clone), all the editors, the cut, the mix, the render, and every download.
What a chapter costs
From one of our own chapters: 87 panels, 81 shots, about twelve minutes of film.

Most of that is Generate Video. That is why we ask you to try three shots before you run eighty.
See the price first
Pick your files, and the run button shows what the step will cost. Steps that make pictures or video are paid by the minute, so the number on the button is a good estimate from earlier runs, and the real time is what you pay.
If a step fails
You pay nothing. The credits come back by themselves. The message tells you what went wrong and what did not get done. Read it before you run the step again — it usually tells you the fix.
Monthly credits and extra credits
Your monthly credits arrive on your billing day. They do not carry over to the next month.
Extra credits you buy never run out of time. They are used only after your monthly credits are gone. You can buy them in blocks of 1,000 on any plan.
How many projects
A project is one film. The number in the table is how many you can have open at once, not how many you can make.
When you have used them all, the studio tells you and nothing you have is touched. To make room: open a project you have finished, go to its Deliver stage, download what you want to keep, and delete the project. The space is free again straight away.
A single project also holds one film's worth of files and no more. When one is full you get a message saying so, and the answer is the same — download from Deliver, start a new project, carry on. See Projects.
One job at a time
One job runs at a time on your account. Anything else you start waits in line and begins by itself when it is next. Plan steps and the editors are never held up.
Change or stop your plan
Do it all from the Billing page. Press the button on the plan you want, or Stop my plan.
A bigger plan starts at once. A smaller plan, or stopping, happens at the end of the month you already paid for. Your projects stay where they are, and you can still open, edit and download them.
