Is there a free tier?
No. Creating an account is free and needs no card — you can import pages, look around the studio and read the docs — but any step that runs a model needs a plan. We would rather charge honestly than watermark your film.
What does a credit cost?
One cent. Plans include credits at a discount; top-ups are $12, $11 or $10 per 1,000 depending on the plan.
How do I know what a step will cost before I run it?
The run panel shows the estimate for the files you selected — per panel, per shot, per line — before you press Run. GPU steps are billed by the minute actually used, so the estimate is a forecast from the last runs of that step, and the bill is the real time.
What if a step fails?
You are not charged for it. Credits spent on a run that fails are returned automatically, and the failure message says what went wrong and what the job did not do.
Do unused credits roll over?
Plan credits reset to your monthly allowance on your billing day. Credits you buy on top never expire, and they are only spent once the month's allowance is used up.
Why one flat rate when GPUs cost different amounts?
Because you should not have to think about hardware. The studio rents the cheapest card that can run your step, and we never charge more when a busy region hands us a dearer one. A faster card simply finishes your job in fewer minutes.
Can I run two jobs at once?
One GPU job runs at a time per account; anything else you start waits its turn and begins automatically. Planning passes and the editors are not affected.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Any time. Upgrades apply immediately; downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the period you already paid for. Your projects stay where they are.
Who owns what I make?
You do. You keep the rights you hold in what you upload and in what the studio makes from it; we only use your files to run the studio for you. See the Terms.
Do you do team or volume pricing?
Yes — a channel running many chapters a month, or a team that needs invoicing and a shared allowance, should write to us before choosing Studio. It is a conversation, not a checkout.
