Repair the panels, repaint them in an anime style, and shape them ready for video. Four steps whose order matters more than in any other stage.

Plan Art AI

Reads each panel as the picture it is: what is depicted, who is in it, how it is framed, this panel's own light and colour, and what has to be repaired before it can be a frame of film. Those notes become the starting description for every repair below, so a repainted area matches the surrounding art instead of being guessed at.

It also decides whether the panel is a frame at all. A sliver of border, a strip of gutter, flat tone with nothing drawn on it, a sound effect over blank ground — these are marked not animatable, and every later step skips them. The call is one boolean with a reason beside it; a wrong drop is one click to overrule in the panel's insights.

It plans the art, not the animation. Camera moves, shot lengths and transitions are properties of the sequence, and this pass sees one panel at a time — Plan Video makes those decisions with every plate in front of it.

Clean Up Panels GPU

Flux.1 Fill paints artwork back into the transparent holes Find Speech Bubbles left — or anything you erased with Paint. It works one hole at a time, each from a crop around it and its own sentence from the panel notes, so what belongs behind one hole cannot end up in another.

Run it before Apply Anime Style. Styling repaints the whole panel and closes the holes; once they are gone there is nothing left for this step to repair.

Apply Anime Style GPU

This is what makes the plates look like an anime rather than a photographed comic, so it runs on every project. It samples a fresh image on Flux.2 Klein with your panel as reference conditioning — a new generation anchored to the panel, not an edit of it — which is also why it is the last step that can take off what Clean Up could not reach: a panel border, a sound effect drawn into the art, a balloon the detector never scored.

One style for the whole chapter. Do not vary the style or its settings between panels. A panel styled unlike its neighbours becomes a keyframe, and the video model will faithfully animate the style change across it. Use Try a Style on one panel before committing the folder.

A style is how the picture is drawn — line, shading, fills, texture. Each panel's own light and mood come from Plan Art's notes and ride separately, so a cheerful page stays cheerful in a dark-action style. See Art styles.

Fit to Frame GPU

Extends each plate outward until it is exactly the canvas the video model generates at (1344×768), so every shot starts from the same aspect ratio — plates at mismatched ratios morph when animated. It only ever adds a margin: the plate you gave it is composited back over the result, so the picture itself cannot change.

Run it last, on the styled plates. It invents new canvas by continuing the pixels at the plate's edge, so extending a styled plate gives you more anime, and extending a raw comic panel gives you more comic page.
